The Seafood Expo in Belgium, Brussles, has begun with a team from Maldives.
Over 1,500 companies from 49 nations are taking part in the Seafood Expo. Teams from Fisheries Ministry, Fisheries Promotion Board and fish exporters are representing Maldives in the Expo.
MIFCO, Horizon Fisheries, Ensis Fisheries, Cyprea Marine Foods, Ocean Hunter, Big fish and Maldive Marine Products are among the exporters taking part in the Expo.
The Maldivian contingent will promote fisheries products and sustainable fisheries initiative promoted by the country.
The two day expo will conclude today.
