Website and two video clips of GRACE campaign has been launched. The GRACE campaign is an initiative by Advocating Rights of Children (ARC) and British High Commission.
The website and videos were launched by British High Commissioner to the Maldives James Dauris in a ceremony held today.
GRACE campaign seeks to empower girls. The video clips released today provide information on preparing CVs, scholarships and higher education.
Speaking in the ceremony, ARC Managing Director Hawla Ahmed Didi said the website was created to provide all information to all parts of the country from one place. She said the information will provide information on education and job opportunities.
Hawla added that ARC had conducted information sessions for 276 parents and 659 students from grades 9 to 12. The sessions were held for students from schools in Dhaal, Gnaviyani, Seenu and Haa Alif atolls.
