Housing Ministry has revealed that the automated mechanical parking system will be placed this August.
Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said that the mechanical parking system is scheduled to be placed in August and the system will be made public before the end of the year. Under the system, 20 areas in Male' will be designated for the system.
Ten of the areas will be designated for motorcycles and the rest will be designated for cars. The eco-friendly systems are prepared in China by STO. STO is the contractor for the project.
The project was assigned to STO a month back.
