Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun work on making roads friendly for persons with disabilities.
HDC said the company had created universal access points on main roads in Hulhmale' in a bid to make roads for all, especially for persons with disabilities. So far, 36 access points had been created in Hulhumale'.
"Access points have been made on Huvandhumaa Hingun, Central Park, Filigas Magu, Hithigas Magu, Bageecha Hingun and Nirolhu Magu," HDC said.
HDC, in charge of developing Hulhumale', said the project will be carried out until all of Hulhumale' is made accessible for persons with disabilities. The company said additional changes will made to facilitate easier access to roads.
