A civil court case filed against MP Thariq by a private company has been dismissed. The case was dismissed after MP Thariq paid the money owed to the company without the court's involvement.
The company that filed a case against MP Thariq is Fuel Express Maldives Pvt Ltd. The company filed a court case against Thariq for failing to pay MVR 107,261.45 for the purchase he had made.
The reason for the dismissal as per the verdict was because he had paid the amount owed to the company outside of the court. The company had also stated that they did not wish to take the matter any further through a letter submitted to the court.
