Tourism Ministry has invited prospective bidders to submit their applications to develop L. Guraidhoo and L. Kashidhoo as resorts.
A statement released by the Ministry has called on potential investors to send in their proposals within 10 days, starting from today. Additionally, investors have to submit a letter stating that the bidder had no reservations in paying the acquisition cost as well the expression of interest letter and a document that pledges to finish developing the properties by the end of 2018.
Potential bidders will have to submit their applications before 1.30 pm on June 2. Tourism Ministry said they will analyze all the bids and award the winner the contract to develop the resort in collaboration with the Government.
