Inthif's case appealed by state

Inthif Rauf's case has been appealed to the High Court by the state, after the lower courts ruled that the evidence presented by the state was not sufficient in proving that he was in possession of a dangerous weapon.

The Prosecutor General's office said that the final verdict was not satisfactory, and that the Inthif's case was going to be filed for appeal at the High Court. Inthif was arrested and detained for unlawful possession of a weapon after a pistol was found in Ma.Gold Beam, where he resided.

Inthif walked free after he denied the charges against him and because the criminal court ruled that the evidence presented against him was not sufficient in proving that Inthif was in possession of a dangerous weapon. Sources say that Inthif has left the country although that has not been confirmed.
