Six employees injured in Kooddoo Ferry accident

Six employees that were travelling from Kooddoo to Ga.Villigili have been injured in a ferry accident. Reports claim that the Kooddoo ferry hit another boat that was travelling.

Officials from Kooddoo told Avas that the accident occurred while the ferry carrying Kooddoo employees was travelling to Villigili from Kooddoo. While commenting on the incident, Kooddoo officials said that six employees were injured in the accident.

The hospital manager of Villigili has assured Avas that all six were being treated in the Villigili hospital, and that there were no serious injuries. "We are currently treating all six injured in the accident, there are no serious cases" hospital manager Shafiz Moosa said.

Police have stated that they were not informed of the incident even when six people were taken to the hospital. Police have expressed concern over not being informed when a collision of two boats took place out in the sea. Police have said that no authorities had been informed of this incident, where human lives were potentially threatened, and that this was concerning.

"The police had not been informed of the accident that took place at 7:30 this morning" the police said. The police are now investigating this accident.
