Police have arrested three people with drugs, during a special operation that they conducted in Ha.Dhihdhoo. Three people were arrested after the police checked and inspected two houses as part of an operation that they were conducting in the island.
The police arrested two 22 year old men and a 26 year old man. According to the police, the two 22 year olds were arrested during an operation that the police conducted on the 19th of this month. The police also stated that they had obtained a court warrant and searched the residence of one of the detainees. Police said that while inspecting the house, they had found cellophane pieces containing what they believed to be drugs.
The 26 year old under police custody was arrested on the 26th of this month, after the police had inspected his residence by obtaining a court warrant. The police said that they had found 20 pieces of cellophane believed to be drugs while inspecting the house.
The court has already stamped 10 days for the two 22 year olds and 15 days for the 26 year old. No further information about the detainees have been revealed.
