President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has met with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak today.
At the meeting, discussions were held on ways to further strengthen the existing good relations between the Maldives and Malaysia. The President and the Prime Minister also deliberated extensively on matters of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister expressed profound appreciation for attending the PERMATA International Conference: Children Beyond Tomorrow.
The President was accompanied at the meeting by the High Commissioner of Maldives in Malaysia, Mohamed Fahmy Hassan, and the Deputy High Commissioner of Maldives in Malayia, Ghaniya Abdul Ghafoor.
