Versagio Pvt Ltd has revealed that they will begin providing rebroadcast service to Male' area and will begin service as the most affordable service provider in the country.
The re-broadcast permit was issued to the company by Broadcom yesterday.
Versagio said the company had begun preparations to provide the service in three phases and will provide the service to Male' this November and nearby islands by year end. The service will be expanded to the rest of the country afterwards.
Under the rebroadcast service, customers will be able to access online newspapers, magazines, live tv services and on-demand services will be added later on.
"Will provide high quality services at an affordable price, giving what the customer wants and improve the rebroadcast sector," Versagio said.
Broadcom had issued re-broadcast license to 111 parties across various regions and atolls in the country.
