The hearing of the second case filed against Galolhu South MP Ahmed Mahloof for obstruction of justice has been cancelled. The Court was scheduled to announce a verdict on the issue today at 11 am.
Criminal Court had confirmed that the hearing had been cancelled but did not divulge a reason for the cancellation.
The charges against Mahloof states that Mahloof had attempted to enter an area cordoned off by the Police. He is currently serving a four month, 24 day jail term also on charges of obstruction of duty.
