"Stealing Paradise" removed from Al-Jazeera schedule

The Al-Jazeera documentary "Stealing Paradise" has been removed from the channel's scheduled programing.

The documentary on the alleged massive corruption of senior government officials was to air on Sunday at 1200 GMT or 1700 local time. A repeat of the program was scheduled for Tuesday.

Al-Jazeera has released their program guides up on their website up until the 6th of this month. "Stealing Paradise" has been replaced by "The Palestinian Wedding" on both days. The schedule was amended last night.

Senior Government officials have assured that the documentary will not be aired on the channel.

Reportedly various local sources had been interviewed in the making of the documentary. Documentary makers had later on requested for a comment from the Government over the documentary. Former Minivan News Editor Will Jordan was one of the makers of the documentary.
