Famous religious scholar and Mufti of Zimbabwe, Sheikh Ismail ibn Musa Menk is set to give a religious lecture next month in the Maldives. Sheikh Menk's lecture is being organized by the Jamiyyatul Rahma as a part of the ongoing events under the name of "Ilm Talks" to raise and promote religious information in the public. The session of "Ilm Talks" in which Menk is set to speak will be held in the middle of next month.
This event is taking place with help from the Maldives National University's (MNU) student union, the Islamic University's student union as well as the Maldivian Youth League.
Menk is set to speak at "Ilm Talks" about the responsibility Muslim brothers and sisters have to one another. Sheikh Menk was included in the top 500 most influential Muslims list in the year 2010.
The "Ilm Talks" series by Jamiyyatul Rahma was started last year. That session took place with religious lectures from 15 world famous scholars.
