The Parliament Member of the Dhangethi Constituency and former Head of FAM, Ilham Ahmed is preparing to compete to be Head of Olympic Committee.
When Avas called Ilham to ask for a word on this, he said that he did not want to comment on this issue yet.
But an official on Ilhams team sent a message to Avas stating that preparations are being made to elect Ilham as Head of the Olympic Committee.
Olympic Committees current Head, Mohamed Shaveed was Ilham's adviser when Ilham was Head of FAM. Members are nominated for positions in the Olympic Committee through associations.
