Dhiraagu revenue nearly MVR2 bln by third quarter

Dhiraagu has announced today that they have made a revenue of MVR1.9 billion by the end of September. This is a significant improvement of MVR184 million compared to this time last year. This is record amount of revenue for Dhiraagu.

The reports released by Dhiraagu detail that Dhiraagu received MVR203 million as profits in the third quarter of this year, and each Dhiraagu share holds a MVR10.72 dividend by September's end.

MVR806 million has been distributed between Dhiraagu shareholders so far this year.

New features implemented in the third quarter

  • Introduction of the 15GB mobile package
  • Development of fiber network in Maafushi, providing businesses and homes with high speed internet
  • Providing I-Phones with special installment packages
  • Providing broadband services to homes in L.Atoll
  • Introducing a special package for Bangladesh citizens in the Maldives
  • Introducing the cheapest call rate for Saudi Arabia during Hajj season

Dhiraagu has also conducted CSR events during this quarter, such as becoming a corporate member of Red Crescent, and providing donations for events held for children and people with special needs, alongside the Care Society and Gender Ministry. They also distributed gifts to children all over the Maldives on Eid.
