The Islamic Ministry inform that the 'Islamic Fair' will start today evening.The purpose of this fair will be to increase religious awareness among the public and to provide enjoyment in a way religious virtues are maintained.
The fair, which will go on till the 31st of this month, will be held at the hall and courtyard of the Islamic Center. Maldives Hajj Corporation is the main sponsor for the fair. Ooredoo Maldives is a co-sponsor.
The Islamic Ministry inform that government companies, universities, private organizations as well as bookshops will take part in this event. They inform that the 'Message of Islam' will also take part in this event.
Fund boxes will be set up by the Islamic Ministry at this event. Information about the funds will also be a part of this fair. There will be an art gallery at the fair as well, detailing Islamic History. Stage activities and games will be arranged for children visiting the fair. The fair will be held from 4 to 6 pm and 8 to 10 pm on all three days.
