The Atoll brand tuna cans. which MIFCO will be transporting to Europe.
The Maldives Industrial Fishing Company (MIFCO) has produced a special brand of tuna cans to be exported to the European market named 'Atoll.'
Speaking to 'Avas', the MIFCO Managing Director Adhlee Ismail said final preparations are being made to introduce the 'Atoll' tuna cans as a Maldivian brand in the British market.
"This is the largest effort being undertaken in the history of MIFCO. The final preparations are being made to introduce the 'Atoll' brand in Europe," Adhlee said.
He said that the brand will be introduced and will begin exportation within the next two months, but that this will be a huge effort for MIFCO.
