AYADY Takaful, Allied Insurances Islamic scheme has introduced a new online system.
Ibrahim Firushan,, consultant of AYADY Takaful said at the ceremony held at Mookai Hotel earlier Monday that 'AYADY.MV', the online platform for AYADY Takaful, will provide Motor and Travel Takaful features. He also said this platform will provide the service of determining the validity of certain certificates.
"We are providing service through the internet now. Now you can get service from all over the Maldives rather than going down to the office. Even though it is only a few services now, many more services will be available in the future," Firushan said.
Manager of AYADY Takaful Fathimath Nizma said the provided service provided online will be motor takaful (insurance) service.
"There are many vehicles throughout the Maldives. So it is difficult to come to Male every time to renew insurance. So a great ease will be provided by this service. Insurance can be renewed now any place any time. This can be done without standing in queue," Nizma said.
She said that after obtaining the service, the certificate must be printed to get the stickers.
"An app will be introduced very soon, there will be no need for stickers then. For now, stickers will be provided by the office, you do not have to stand in queue to obtain stickers," she added.
Answering a question by 'Avas', Nizma said that the Takaful service is receiving a positive feedback.
"There is more demand than we ever expected. As Islamic Finance expands in the Maldives, demand for the service increases as well," she explained.
The AYADY Takafuk is located on the first floor of Orchid house in Henveiru ward.
