An accident that occurred in Haa Dhaal Atoll Kulhudhuffushi island Tuesday night has left an elderly man seriously injured.
Mohamed Waheed, Manager of the Kulhudhuffushi Hospital said the victim is currently being treating for multiple injuries. He said that the nature of the injuries has not yet been made clear.
'Avas' has received reports that the injured man is Hussein Yusuf who is 74 years old.
He was injured after a motorcycle traveling at a fast speed crashed into him. Reports say that the man riding the cycle had fled the scene. Reports say that Hussein's leg was badly injured in the accident. The police have not yet said anything regarding this accident.
