A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a speeding motorbike in the capital Male early Saturday.
Police said the middle aged man was hit by the bike while trying to cross the road near the local market around 6.50 Saturday morning.
The victim was rushed to the privately run ADK hospital, police said.
The license of the driver had been confiscated and the bike towed, police added.
