The Guesthouse Maldives and Dive MV Magazines have been released on Tuesday, at a small ceremony held at the terrace of Champa Central.
At the ceremony, the Business Development Director of Getaways Maldives, Dr Hussein Sunny Umar said that the Guesthouse Maldives and Dive MV Magazines are the result of two huge projects. Guesthouse Maldives has seen two previous editions, however Tuesday marked the debut of the Dive MV magazine.
"When we first ventured into the guesthouse business in 2014, there were very few of them. Right now there are nearly 600 guesthouses, and our team have made trips to 80 islands and done an extensive coverage of these guesthouses, available in the three editions of our magazine. This has been a boost to the guesthouse trade," Sunny said.
The Guesthouse Maldives magazine has been circulated in 25 international fairs. Sunny has stated that the Dive MV is also targeted for an international audience.
