A young man was injured after a car crashed into a motorbike in the southernmost Atoll Addu on Friday evening.
The 23 year old victim was reportedly the motorbike driver.
Police confirmed that the accident was reported around 8.47pm which reportedly occurred on the main road of Hithadhoo island.
Both the car and the motorbike was reportedly speeding when the two vehicles collided after the drivers lost control.
The injured victim had reportedly suffered head injuries and was now being treated at the regional hospital in Hithadhoo.
