An aircraft of Asian Academy of Aeronautics Flying School was involved in an accident during the landing phase of a training exercise in Addu on Saturday.
While it has been reported that the aircraft is badly damaged in the crash, no persons were injured in the incident. An Indian student was maneuvering the aircraft at the time of the crash.
Two aircraft of the flying school have been involved in similar accidents in the past. In the most recent incident, the aircraft crashed into the sea.
