Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened two new branches in Hoarafushi and Ihavandhoo in Haa Alif Atoll to extend it's reach in the atolls.
Both branches are set to be equipped with 24 hour ATMs that enable deposits as well as withdrawals. Bank staff will also be on hand during banking hours to assist with account opening, loans and card services.
Both branches were inaugurated in two separate ceremonies that were held on the respective islands.

These investments form part of our recently-announced program whereby we will double our overall investment in local communities and create 150 new jobs in the process,” BML’s CEO and Managing Director Andrew Healy stated.
