Ooredoo has been featured among the top 50 telecommunication brands in the world largely due tof the 48 percent increase in revenue last year.
Brand Finance, a leading company specialised in brand and intangible assets valuation, evaluated the company's strength as per the sectors that were marketed and invested in, employee satisfaction and the concepts adapted to promote corporate reputation.
According to Brand Finance's report, Ooredoo was ranked 47 among the top 50 telecommunication companies.
The report also stated that after Ooredoo was re-branded in 2013, it extended it's reach to the market of the Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia. This resulted in a significant growth of the company's net worth by USD2 billion, leaving it's current value at USD3 billion.
Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, Group CEO, said that the company will continue to evolve and reach customers and markets all over the world. Ooredoo targets to become the world's leading data service provider and is making progress towards success.
