A fire broke out Monday in the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) industrial fisheries island 'Kandu oiy giri.'
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said the fire had broken out in part of the factory causing damages to the building, though no one was hurt in the incident.
MNDF said the incident was reported on Monday afternoon and a firefighters team was immediately dispatched to the island.
