Islamic ministry has set a goal to finish construction of 19 new mosques for upcoming the holy month of Ramadan.
Ministry said it was looking to construct mosques in 12 different atolls in the Maldives before the month of Ramadan. The construction of these mosques are funded by the government, Saudi Arabia king and Ali Fulhu Thuthu Foundation.
Islamic ministry had constructed 18 mosques last year and this year.
