BML expands services in Lhaviyani Atoll

Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced Self Service banking to Lhaviyani Atoll Hinnavaru with a brand new ATM.

It was officially inaugurated at a ceremony held on the island Friday by health minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim and BML Deputy CEO and Director of Operations, Mohamed Shareef.

BML said that the initiative is part of its MVR300 million investment scheme to expand services across the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shareef revealed he was gratified to be able to introduce a service to support the local community, adding that the achievement marked a landmark in the bank's investment program.

The new ATM will support cash deposits, withdrawals and transfers on a 24/7 daily basis.

BML has 34 branches in 20 atolls of the Maldives, with 85 ATM's, 27 self service banking centers along with a state of the art online banking service.
