Ooredoo Maldives have announced plans to introduce Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) in the Maldives.
The announcement was made by the deputy CEO of the Ooredoo group, Waleed Al Sayed at the ceremony held to go public with IPO.
"The CEO of Ooredoo Maldives and the Managing Director have requested for IPTV to be introduced in the Maldives," Sayed said.
He further stated that the service would be ready for launch in the Maldives in the next couple of months.
Ooredoo has been providing the Maldives with new and innovative technologies since 2005.
