Mövenpick to manage its first resort in the Maldives

Hotel management company, Mövenpick has revealed that their first resort in the Maldives will officially open during the second quarter of 2018.

According to a Russian tourism news outlet, the 105-unit resort situated in Kuredhivaru Island in Noonu Atoll will consist of 33 beach villas and 72 water villas.

Mövenpick has said that the five-star resort will feature an array of recreational facilities and services suitable for a wide range of guests, from honeymooners to families. They further added that the resort will offer a high degree of privacy to all guests.

Maldives has welcomed 11 resorts from different leading brands of the world in the past year. According to the government, additional 20 resorts are set to open within the current year.

Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts are owned by Mövenpick group, producer of the infamous ice cream brand under their name. Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts operate over 80 properties, including hotels, resorts and Nile cruisers, with another 30 resorts planned or under construction across the Middle East and Asia.
