Firefighters deployed to Hotel Jen over reports of smoke

Firefighters have been deployed to Hotel Jen in capital Male over reports of smoke from the fourth floor of the hotel.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) spokesperson captain Azim Ibrahim said the reports of smoke was reported to the fire and rescue around 7pm on Wednesday.

Firefighters had rushed to the scene but despite the smoke no fire had been found thus far, Azim said.
