Assailants had boarded a safari docked at Kaafu Atoll Guraidhoo lagoon and sparked violence.
Maldives Police Service confirms they received reports of a group boarding a safari docked at the lagoon and had instigated assault - stating they received the report around 20:00hrs on Saturday night.
So far two suspects regarding the case has been arrested.
Reports suggest the assailants sparked violence when they were denied alcoholic beverages - several crew members on board the safari received injuries during the clashes. However the details of their injuries had not been disclosed yet.
At least 12 arrests over the current month has been made regarding assault cases from Male'.
