A total of three local companies along with Fisheries Promotion Board has participated in the "Seafood Expo Asia" hosted at Hong Kong.
The Fisheries Promotion Board of Maldives states that the participants from Maldives, Ensis Fisheries, Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) and Cyprea will be representing the Maldivian market of fishing products.
The Board further detailed that the government owned fisheries company and Ensis Fisheries will provide information to the attendants of the fair through special seminars - regarding the fishing industry and business opportunities.
The "Seafood Expo Asia" is the largest hosted fair in the region with several countries participating in the event.
