New Japanese restaurant opened at Crossroads Maldives

An exquisite Japanese restaurant, 'Nihonbashi Blue' has been opened in Crossroads Maldives.

The restaurant was opened by Japanese Ambassador to Maldives, Ms. Keiko Yanai and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel, as well as senior officials from Crossroads Maldives and the restaurant.

Nihonbashi Blue Restaurant has been ranked among the top restaurants in Asia for the past ten years. First established 25 years ago in Sri Lanka, the restaurant is specialised in serving different varieties of sushi.

An official from Nihonbashi said the most special dish that is available from the restaurant is a Japanese delicacy named 'Wagyu Beef'. Additionally, dishes made from dried tuna, sea food and raw fish will be available from the restaurant.

All dishes will be served to locals for the same price at which they are available to foreigners. There are 15 staff currently employed at the restaurant.

Crossroads Maldives is the Maldives' first extraordinary multi-island, fully integrated leisure destination. Located on Emboodhoo Lagoon in Kaafu atoll, Crossroads Maldives is 15-minutes away from Velana International Airport and capital Malé.
