"FahiPay" ease of recharging phone credit

Local telecom vendors - both Dhiraagu and Ooredoo has pre-paid and post paid packages in which the former requires frequent credit recharges in order to place conventional calls and texts.

Both "Reload" and "Raastas" respectively of Dhiraagu and Ooredoo are their phone credit recharging schemes placed in several retail shops as well as their customer service hubs across the capital and several islands. However customers have always faced the inconvenience of running out of balance, after business hours putting them in predicaments of unable to recharge their balance.

A mobile application, named "FahiPay" seeks to resolve this issue. The mobile application allows users to either "Reload" or "Raastas" to their respective vendor numbers - pre-paid SIMS exclusively - regardless of time and hour.

The app is now available to Android devices in Google PlayStore as well as from AppleStore for iOS. "FahiPay" is not just a conventional recharge service application as a point scheme within the application allows to collect the point for credit recharges above MVR 50, which can be redeemed to gain extra talk minutes.

FahiPay also allows package recharges, m-Faisaa and BillPay services as well. M-Faisaa is the mobile wallet powered by Ooredoo while BillPay is powered by Bank Of Maldives allowing users to settle utility bills through mobile.
