Several prominent figures are expected to participate as keynote speakers at the Dhiraagu Maldives Guesthouse Conference on coming Saturday, September 23.
The Maldives Getaways organized event is scheduled to take place at Paradise Island Resort.
According to the organizer, Maldives Getaways, the speakers for this year's conference include the likes of Accor Hotels, Booking.com as well as Expedia, in addition to them Parley Maldives and the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative to Maldives, Shoko Noda is expected to deliver speeches during the conference as well.
With a total of 200 guesthouse operators participating in the conference, 50 of the most active travel agents in Maldivian tourism industry would also take part in the event.
Guesthouses participating under the Guesthouse Conference will receive free advertising opportunities at the 10 biggest tourism fairs hosted across the world. Most notable fairs where Maldives actively participates include the Berlin initiated ITB fair, and the WTM, India's OTM and the Arabian Travel Mart.
These tourism boosting fairs attempt to establish an outreach to more than 5000 magazines in relevant fields, operated across the globe.
