International hotelier behemoth Marriott International's West-Inn Maldive Miriandhoo Resort is scheduled for a 2019 opening, according to the company.
Maldives Insider - a travel and tourism news generator - reports the resort developed at Baa atoll Miriandhoo is designed by an Italian firm.
Situated at a distance of 40 minutes from Velana International Airport; by seaplane, West-Inn Maldive Miriandhoo Resort is designed with the infusion of contemporary architecture and local styles.
The resort which lies in Baa atoll; a UNESCO preserved biosphere reserve location, will comprise of 70 luxury villas along with food and beverage outlets as well as fitness and recreation centers.
2019 looks at stiff competition as West-Inn Maldive Miriandhoo will be opening alongside Avani Fares and Ithaafushi Resort developed by Maina Group.
