Emboodhoo project to enact cultural center

Thailand's Sinha Estate has confirmed the company will be establishing a cultural center at Emboodhoo - the integrated resort project.

The company's chief marketing officer stated that the enactment of a cultural center under the project has been a vital part of their plans and they aim to promote handicraft works of Maldives through the center.

He also highlighted that a safari marine discover center will be developed at Emboodhoo lagoon where a marina will be developed to house the luxury cruise vessels.

Kitsanan, the chief marketing officer also said the company took the project in hopes of collaborating with the state government to thrive for an economical boost.

Noted as the largest tourism project in 44 years, since the dawn of the first resort island in Maldives the integrated resort project will be distributed to several phases and a total of 9 islands will be developed under it.

The first three islands developed under phase one of the project is estimated to inject approximately USD 311.5 million as investment. It is reported that a total of 1,300 rooms will be developed at multiple venues across the resort islands.

State also expects the completion of the project will open up more than 7,000 career opportunities.
