Male' city experienced power outage on some parts of the city on Sunday afternoon, due to technical malfunctions, confirmed State Electric Corporation (STELCO).
STELCO, responsible with the utility service for greater Male' region confirmed that a technical issue to one of the powerhouse generators resulted in electricity cut-off in several parts of the capital. The utility corporation affirmed that power will resume within half an hour.
The utility corporation had confirmed that considerable parts where electricity was cut-off, power has resumed again.
Male' city has experienced a string power outages recently which was resulted from generator overkill according to the STELCO and added they were bringing a permanent fix to the issue.
