Tree Top Investments, the joint venture by Casa Holdings, Champa Brothers as well as Kuredhoo Holdings, on Tuesday announced that its landmark Tree Top Hospital established in the reclaimed suburb would be officially opened on March 1.
The result of a USD110 million investment, the Tree Top Hospital was initially set to be opened during the second quarter of last year.
With the vision to providing service excellence, Tree Top Health Pvt Ltd contracted Turkish company Turmaks to design and build Tree Top Hospital in the reclaimed suburb Hulhumale, a 20 minute ferry ride away from the bustling capital Male. The Turkish giants has 60 years of experience in construction of infrastructure including hospitals and has been successfully delivering health solutions from Asia to South America.
Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care of Malaysia, a JCI accredited hospital group with over 26 years of experience in the industry meanwhile has been contracted to operate and manage the tertiary hospital.
The exquisitely designed hospital set to boasts state of the art facilities, equipment and international health care specialists from 30 different countries would rival any facility in the region.
The Tree Top Hospital will provide open heart surgery for the first time in the Maldives and will provide countless other world class health services. The hospital will be a fully automated hospital and will be connected to various other Tree Top Hospitals across the globe.
The multi specialty hospital will house 200 beds, and will be equipped with revolutionary facilities for the Maldives.
An emergency power system and a restaurant will also be placed inside the six storey hospital building in Hulhumale.
