A 22 year old died after falling from a five storey building in the capital Male on Sunday morning.
Police said the young man fell to his death around 6am on Sunday but details of the incident remain unclear.
The victim was rushed to the state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) but an official said he was dead even before he reached the hospital.
Police have launched an investigation.
