Police on Sunday arrested three people in connection to the death of a 22 year old man after falling from a five storey building in the capital Male hours earlier.
Police said the young man now identified as Ahmed Iyash fell to his death around 6am on Sunday.
Though police are yet to officially confirm the arrests, AVAS understands that a man and two women who were with the victim at the time of the incident have been taken into custody.
Sources say Iyash had been having trouble with his roommate and neighbours had heard a heated argument before the incident.
The incident comes days after an expat fell to his death from a ventilation shaft in the reclaimed suburb Hulhumale.
