The first ever hospitality and tourism outlet in upper northern hub - Haa Dhaal atoll - is set for official opening on March 18, Sunday.
A large resort island expected to hold more than 400 rooms will have each 100 villas opened yearly. Hon'daafushi Resort will open with 80 rooms including 160 beds on early hours of Sunday.
"By its end the resort will hold 400 rooms but we are opening the resort in a phase by phase basis. We expect to provide service from its total room capacity in five years time and with regards to business and economy this would be beneficial for us," Moosa Shiyam, the director of AAA Corporation said in an earlier interview with Avas Online.
AAA & Trading Company Pvt Ltd is the developer of the Haa Dhaal atoll island into a resort outlet.
Shiyam assured that although the Hon'daafushi Resort is categorized as four-star tourism facility the resort will cater a five-star rating service.
With Hon'daafushi Resort the chain of resorts under AAA & Trading has increased to five.
