The water plantation work at Laamu atoll Fonadhoo has concluded with the site set to cater services to the locals.
Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim had tweeted confirming the piped water supply network and fresh water production system using Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology is set to go operational.
The water plantation work started back in 2016, assigned to Sierra Maldives Private Limited by the government in a bid to provide clean water to the households of the slips 3,000 locals.
