Kudafunafaru Resort is set for an August re-opening post rebranding as Noku Maldives Resort.
The rebranded resort is reported to include 50 villas of varying categories including 30 over-water villas and 20 beach-water villas.
Known previously as Zithali Maldives managed by locally famous resort venture AAA Trading Company was acquired by a Singaporean corporation two years earlier.
The refurbished and rebranded resort will deliver a la carte all day or buffet style for breakfast and lunch from its restaurants.
Noku Maldives is one of the first resorts to be opened at Noonu atoll. According to several tourism related sites the reefs in the region have been pristine, unexplored and untouched.
