Largest telecommunication provider in Maldives Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun or Dhiraagu has made a net profit of MVR215 million in 2018 second quarter.
According to the company's financial report Dhiraagu generated an income of MVR694.3 million during Q2 2018.
The company's operating expense for this period reached MVR349 million and paid MVR35.1 million in taxes to Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).
Company dividend profit for the quarter reached MVR2.84 per share.
Dhiraagu claims their income for second quarter increased mainly due to mobile data plans, 'Fiber to Home' internet service as well as their enterprise services.
