The three men injured after a compressor at Thilafushi - the industrial island of Maldives - exploded on Saturday are recovering well, a hospital official said Monday.
Two expatriate workers and a local man were among the three people injured who were quickly rushed to the state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in the capital Male.
A hospital official told AVAS that the two expatriate workers had suffered only minor injuries and have since been released from hospital.
The local man however, had suffered burn injuries and has been admitted for treatment, the official said adding that he too was recovering well.
Authorities are yet to reveal the reason behind the incident.
