Authorities nab two more on Ensis MVR2 mln robbery

Authorities have arrested two more individuals over the robbery case of MVR2 million from Ensis Fisheries Group.

The money, carried in cash, was robbed from two employees of Ensis at the satellite town of Hulhumale' on July 31. Authorities had earlier arrested two employees of the fisheries company regarding the robbery.

Media official of Maldives Police Service confirmed two more linked to the robbery were apprehended on Tuesday and Wednesday last week. Cops arrested two individuals aged 19 and 20 under court order.

Ensis confirms that two masked men on bike had robbed the company's employees when they came out of the office at Hulhumale' carrying the money. The fisheries company also claimed the CCTV cameras in the area would have caught the robbery on them.
