An expatriate has been discovered dead from Faafu atoll Nilandhoo on Wednesday.
Authorities confirm they were reported of the discovery of the deceased foreigner around 08:07hrs on Wednesday morning.
Police further revealed the deceased expatriate originated from Bangladesh and stated the deceased foreigner's body will be transported to Maldives capital Male' City sometime later on Wednesday.
Reports further claim the Bangladeshi expat was discovered at the house he resided at the island - he was a restaurant employee.
